TrueField Optics Bench is an offline-first telescope and eyepiece workbench for amateur astronomers, astronomy-club mentors, and new scope owners. Instead of juggling scattered charts or planetarium apps, you assemble a full optical train—OTA, optional Barlow or focal reducer, eyepiece, and filter—from finished seed catalogs or custom specs, then instantly see magnification, true field of view, exit pupil, theoretical resolving power, and max useful magnification. A moon-referenced FOV disk, target-fit advisor by object class, multi-rig comparison charts, and printable FOV prep cards turn raw focal-length math into clear go/no-go decisions before you head outside. Everything stays on-device with persistent local rigs; no sky map, no account, no network required.
